It was during the 19th Century that a hair control for men first come into being more known then as a pomade and continued into the 1920’s  & 40’s.  The name Dapper Dan was then used to describe a well-groomed man.  The pond lasted well into the 1960’s and the Rock & Roll era before hair gels come along.

Dapper Dan was made famous in this century through the film “O’Brother Where Art Thou”

We have recreated a period can with a waterproof label which is 1 inch in height and 3 inch diameter and is empty.
